Jim Cravero won a 2011 GRAMMY for Best Children's Album for his work as producer / engineer on All About Bullies...Big and Small, a compilation of iconic artists coming together for a great cause, including: Steve Van Zandt (of the E Street Band), Blue October - among many others.
The previous year in 2010, Jim also received a Grammy nomination for Healthy Food For Thought: Good Enough To Eat which featured such artists as Russell Simmons and Julian Lennon.
Honing his skills alongside producer/engineer Jim Gallagher (Stevie Wonder, Rory Block) and later with respected mastering engineer Peter Humphreys (David Bowie, Grover Washington Jr, Teddy Pendergrass), James has developed his skill for bringing out the best performance from artists. "Whatever the style of music, I am continually inspired by the artists I work with. I want the best for them and don't mind pushing a little to get them to that point", Cravero explains. "I will not let an artist leave my studio unsatisfied."
